If you are investigating a topical subject and have a film in development, then you are invited to submit via email a Letter of Inquiry for your project. Please consider how your project is relevant to our mission, described in our Ideals and Values pages. State the impact you hope to achieve and how it will be measured.
Your inquiry should include the following:
• Title of the proposed project
• Logline
• Description of the project, including subject, topic & potential characters
• Budget
• Contact details of the person submitting the request
Proposal Considerations:
Your project must be a focused, investigative topic. Please e-mail inquiries@rogovy.org for an approval to submit your project. We will respond to your letter of inquiry within one month. If the staff review of your Letter of Inquiry is favorable, you will be asked to submit a detailed Proposal.
Proposal Submission:
Proposals are accepted by invitation only. If invited, we will send you a Proposal Checklist to complete your application. Your submission will include details about your project, links to view footage (if available) and examples of past work, which altogether should be about two pages in length. Once your Proposal is successfully received, an acknowledgement email will be sent to you.
Selection Process / Committee:
The applications for funding will be reviewed and vetted by the staff of the Rogovy Focus Grant. If you are selected for a grant, you will be required to list The Rogovy Foundation within the credits of the finished film.
