The Rogovy Foundation Focus Grant
With an eye on the present, the Focus Grant is a special purpose fund that addresses urgent current issues. This fund offers one-off grants in amounts up to $25,000 with planned disbursements totaling $100,000 annually.
Last year, The Rogovy Foundation allocated funds to support investigative journalism projects, as well as Humanitarian Aid through an Emergency Response for Ukraine.
Supporting investigative journalism.
Through the Focus Grant, we aim to fund projects with strong investigative potential. The Rogovy Foundation places great value on the Fourth Estate, and supports journalism’s essential role in a functioning democracy. We look for projects and non-profit organizations that can have substantial impact.
We are particularly keen to provide funding for documentary films engaged in investigative journalism. We are huge fans of documentaries that are driven by investigative reporting and told through a powerful narrative.
With the Focus Grant, our objective is to strengthen public knowledge and transparency. Our goal is to encourage exposure and awareness of topics that include serious crimes, corruption or conflicts of interest.

Humanitarian Aid: Emergency Response for Ukraine.
In light of the extreme situation in Ukraine, we are offering support to three charity operations providing Emergency Response action on the ground. With the brutal Russian invasion, Ukraine is facing a horrendous, catastrophic emergency. Men, women and children are suffering and fleeing their homes as their families are torn apart. These chosen non-profits are responding by providing critical humanitarian war relief and recovery.
