Hugh Rogovy
Founder & President
Hugh Rogovy founded the Rogovy Foundation in 2015 after a successful career with Satori Software, which he co-founded in 1982. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Miami University. After living in Seattle then London for many years, Hugh now makes New York City his home, from where he shares a passion for travel and painting.
Hugh sees the Rogovy Foundation as a means to contribute to the future of our planet, focusing upon his interests in education, civics and the environment.
Lulu Parent

Lulu is from Belgium and lived in London for 12 years before moving to New York City in 2016. She earned her BA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martin’s, University of the Arts in London, in 2010. Fluent in French and English, she has spent most of her free time travelling the world, believing that travel is the best education.
Since relocating to New York City, Lulu has worked for the Rogovy Foundation and now serves as the foundation’s manager for grant development. From 2016 to 2025 she oversaw the Miller / Packan documentary fund, which provided over $2 million dollars to nearly 100 films. She now oversees funding activities through the Focus Grant program, identifying opportunities for the Rogovy Foundation to advance its mission of supporting investigative journalism and strengthening democracy through impactful initiatives.
Asher Rogovy
Vice President & Treasurer
Asher Rogovy holds a B.A. in English & Economics from Ithaca College and an MSc in Economics from Queen Mary College. After spending some time in London, Asher returned to New York City where he co-founded a music industry technology startup.
Asher has founded Magnifina, a Registered Investment Advisor, and serves as its Chief Investment Officer. Magnifina offers individualized investment advice to a wide variety of clients regardless of the size of their account balance.
